The TK-70KE is a musician’s instrument. It has a solid spruce top for excellent projection and punch, and a Fishman Kula pickup allowing you peace of mind when playing plugged in. Multitone abalone inlay surrounds this tenor-scale instrument in luxury.

This tenor scale model was upgraded in several ways for its 2019 re-release. The wood binding is a natural complement to the Koa back and sides and high-gloss finish. We chose a sweet and elegant abalone inlay purfling at the top, back, headstock, and rosette. Deluxe Grover® geared tuners in gold with black buttons make tuning this limited edition model a breeze — especially with the built-in chromatic tuner on the Fishman Kula pickup. This 3-band EQ allows for excellent control of your personal sound on stage, making this a performance model you can rely on!

Louis Wu, Ohana Patriarch, explains why a spruce top is a great choice for this particular model:  “When planning an instrument, I often start with fulfilling a need in the build. For this model, that need was the ability to be heard, so a spruce top was a natural choice for its innate ability to provide projection. For larger audiences, the Fishman onboard preamp was a natural choice for its dependability and features.”
