At Ohana, we knew we couldn't let Covid-19 get us down and ruin one of the highlights of our year, so we planned a couple of live sessions and showcases at our HQ. We invited a few local ohana to share the spirit of NAMM as we'd usually do at our NAMM booth. Following proper safety protocols, of course.

Our Virtual NAMM week kicked off with serious talent -- Abe Lagrimas, Jr. and Jennifer Leitham were an absolute delight with live sets over Monday and Tuesday. The joy was contagious as these two world-class musicians took their Ohana instruments "through the paces" with solo and duo sets.
Abe showed off his TK-350G -- and gave us a little taste of the new PKT-220G in a video demo (below).
Jennifer laid down the rules for making the jump to fretless on our OBU-22 with a sweet tutorial.
Wednesday was a whole new bag of tricks -- João Tostes did us the honor of a live YouTube takeover all the way from Brazil and it was quite a show! João featured original music from his albums, some popular covers, and video work from the lovely Carol Campos. Not only were the multi-camera angles well-implemented, his hair had a life of its own blowing in the wind! You can watch the archive of his live set on YouTube.
The Lee Sisters swung by the office on Thursday for a fun hour of their favorite tunes. Growing up on their parent's music, they bring fresh uke vibes to some classic pop and rock songs. They also performed original tunes from their album "Uke Shoes".
While he may live on the opposite coast, we were able to close out the week with a social takeover by Zander on our Facebook page. This NAMM regular of ours helped unveil the new gorgeous concert ukes for 2021 -- the CK-60CG and the CK-150BWE. As always, he brought the best vibes to our virtual show. Josh Misko took us on a tour on IG Live with his PKC-50G and the BKT-250G. He also included the TKG-20 Microguitar and the oldie-but-goodie Banjolele. We can't wait to have his talented self playing again back at Ohana HQ soon!
