As far as ukuleles, Yoshi quickly took an interest in Ohana's pineapple models, which are not common in Japan. She was intrigued by the
PKT-220G mango pineapple tenor and now features it in her ukulele playing.
More about Yoshi:
Yoshi Hana is a singer based in Japan. Born in Okinawa, she has won grand prizes in singing contests from a young age, showcasing her crystal clear voice. In 2014, she chose the ukulele as a companion to her voice.
The gentle sound of the ukulele, played with her finger-picking style, blends seamlessly with her voice, creating a harmonious unity that feels like a single instrument.
She won second place in the 2020 International Ukulele Contest in Hawaii. After her busking experiences in Melbourne, Australia, she is dedicated to bringing her music to a wider audience.
