This tenor features solid Spruce paired with Willow in a high gloss finish. The Mahogany binding and rope purfling keep the aesthetics clean and classy.
"I continue to be a sucker for the look of Willow. It is a truly unique looking wood type, and I just love all the naturally artistic patterns in the graining. I think those teaching and performing will especially like the Spruce top on this model, as it provides additional brightness and projection to cut through any background chatter."
Ohana started our love of Willow with the -50WG series in soprano and concert scale. These ukuleles have been popular with artists and teachers like Heidi Swedberg, as they have a great sound. We added the -15WG series a few years later, as we just loved the look of the Willow wood. Both of these related series continue to be popular in their own right. With the substitution of a Spruce top for the Cedar; the -70WG series keeps the uniquely patterned willow and adds projection and brightness.
