We wanted to start on “solid” footing with this brand new line, so the obvious place to look was with one of our favorite tonewoods. The -32 Series features all-solid mahogany for a fantastic look and tone sure to turn heads and lift spirits.
At Ohana, we love solid mahogany for its warm and balanced tonal qualities, paired with great sustain. Instruments made from this wood type are great for accompanying vocals, or as a balanced and pleasing sound on its own.
One of the most wonderful things about an all-solid mahogany ukulele is the development and deepening of its tone over time. As the instrument is played, the pores of the wood open up, and produce a more resonant sound.
This model features an open pore satin finish. Our team loves the feel of the smooth satin finish, and how well it captures on film and still photography. This sort of finish really allows the solid mahogany to produce the sustain it is known for. The -32 Series is truly a pleasure to play.
But what about pizazz? A bit of sparkle? We've got you covered with a fun feather motif fretboard inlay. The pretty abalone rosette brings a bit of bling to the instrument. A slotted headstock tops things off, while bookmatched binding on the back ties things together.
We’ve balanced all those sparkly bits with elegant wood binding and classy black/white purfling, topped with nickel tuners with black buttons, and Aquila strings to make her sing.
Freshly stocked and now available through Authorized Ohana Dealers. Check out the all new -32 Series today!
