Order Processing

Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Most in-stock orders ship within 1–3 business days after payment has been received and verified.

All of the instruments we sell receive an inspection and setup at our Southern California facility prior to shipment. This process helps ensure your instrument arrives ready to play and may add additional processing time depending on order volume and the specific instrument ordered.

Orders placed after business hours, on weekends, or on holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Please note that processing times may be longer during holidays, promotional events, product launches, or periods of unusually high order volume.

Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

You may cancel an order within the first 24 hours of placing the order. Following the 24-hour mark, there will be a 10% cancellation fee for orders involving instruments (ukuleles, guitars, or basses).

Orders for accessories, parts, and other non-customized items may be canceled prior to shipment for a full refund.

Because instruments are inspected, adjusted, and professionally set up before shipment, instrument orders may be subject to cancellation fees once setup work has begun. These fees help cover labor, materials, and processing costs associated with preparing the instrument for shipment.

Orders that have already shipped cannot be canceled and will be subject to our applicable return policies.

Shipping Methods

Ohana Music ships from Southern California and offers shipping through major carriers, including USPS, UPS, and FedEx.

Available shipping options and rates are displayed during checkout based on your delivery address and the items in your order.

Delivery Estimates

Estimated delivery times begin after your order has been processed and shipped.

Typical delivery times are:

  • Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days

  • Expedited Shipping: 2–3 business days

  • Express Shipping: 1–2 business days (where available)

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information.

Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become active.

Shipping Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout.

Ohana Music is not responsible for delays, lost shipments, or additional shipping charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by the customer.

If an order has not yet shipped and you need to update your shipping address, please contact us immediately. We cannot guarantee address changes once order processing has begun.

International Shipping

International shipping may be available for select products and destinations.

Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, import fees, brokerage charges, or other fees imposed by their country. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost.

Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Shipments

Once a package has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery is the responsibility of the carrier.

If your package is lost, delayed, or marked as delivered but cannot be located, please contact the shipping carrier first. If additional assistance is needed, contact Ohana Music and we will do our best to help facilitate a resolution.

Ohana Music is not responsible for packages lost or stolen after delivery has been confirmed by the carrier.

Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 5 business days of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the shipping box

  • Photos of the damaged product

  • A description of the damage

Retain all original packaging until the claim has been resolved.

Backorders

If an item becomes temporarily unavailable after an order is placed, we will notify you as soon as possible with updated availability information and any available options.
