Paul Hennessee is a music educator, composer, and multi-instrumentalist residing in New York City. We are proud to present him as an ambassador of our brand because of his consistent activity on our instruments and fun-loving nature.

We first met Paul in 2018 when we began working with his daughter, Ohana artist Chloe Hennessee. Chloe has released many great music projects in the recent past, and the apple certainly doesn’t fall far from the musical tree with the Hennessees. Since then, we have also seen Paul flourish in our uke community.

Paul posts multiple times a week on Instagram and Facebook, and is always finding new ways to encourage others across social media to keep strumming, all on his selection of Ohana ukuleles.

You can catch Paul on his social media accounts and being active in our Facebook Group. He'll have you motivated to keep on strumming and can give you his two cents on Ohana.

What They Play:

"I love everything about the TK-70R - the punch and projection with the spruce top but also lots of resonance and warmth from the rosewood back and sides and mahogany neck. It feels great in my hands and plays so easily. I'm also one for a classic look - the abalone soundhole is just the right amount of "bling" and the slotted headstock and classical-style geared tuners are the icing on the cake!"

OBU-22

"The OBU-22 with steel strings was an easy transition from bass guitar. I love the look and sound of this beauty!"

On Ohana Ukuleles

"I have been playing Ohana ukuleles since around 2013 and often recommend them to my students and other teachers who are starting programs in their schools. I became even more acquainted with Ohana when my daughter, Chloe, became an Ohana Artist around 2018. Ohana makes truly beautiful looking and sounding instruments and their team is second to none in customer service. They truly live up to their name!"
