Jason is an ukulele performer and instructor, based in Honolulu, Hawaii. We've gotten to know him organically in recent years through the retail store Ukulele Puapua where he works. His high level of musicality and an immediately friendly and cheerful personality drew us to him, and we are proud to work with him even closer!

Jason's ukulele of choice is the solid quilted eucalyptus model, CK-450QEL. Surrounded by koa ukuleles living in Hawaii, Jason was drawn to the unique look and sound of this uncommon wood choice, first in its laminate form (CK-150QEL), then in this all-solid form.

As an instructor, Jason was also drawn to the Ohana DIY Kits for their endless creative possibilities and innate appeal to beginners who, say, are coming to Hawaii for a weeklong getaway and looking for something fun and musical to do!
